When I read Seabiscuit, also in 2003(!), I wrote in my book journal that it was the best book I'd ever read. I also wrote that if it had been fiction, no one would have thought it could happen. I came to your blog from your daughter's A Fondness For Reading. I'm enjoying your book reviews very much.

Our book group really liked Seabiscut. You are so right about it being almost unbelievable. Kind of like a modern-day miracle.
